Overview

This guide explains how to connect your Magic Box 3.0 Wireless and complete the initial setup. When using the Magic Box 3.0 Wireless for the first time, you will need to add it as a new device in your vehicle’s system. To do this, go to your vehicle’s Bluetooth or device settings and select “Add Device.”

From there, select MagicBox-XXXXX (where XXXXX is a unique 5 digit code) from the list of available devices and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the connection.

What's Included in the Box

• SIM tray removal pin

• HDMI reducer

• USB Type-C cable

• USB Type-A to Type-C cable

• SIM card (activation via Magic Box website)

Magic Box Ports

• USB Type-C Port: For power.

• SIM and SD Card Tray: Located below the USB Type-C port.

• HDMI Port: Connects to HDMI reducer provided.

Inserting the SIM Card

1. Flip the Magic Box upside down.

2. Insert the provided SIM tray removal pin into the small hole until the tray pops out.

3. Place the SIM card into the tray (face down).

4. Gently push the tray back into the Magic Box until it clicks securely into place.

Clearing Existing Bluetooth Connections

Before initial setup:

1. Navigate to your vehicle’s settings.

2. Select Phone List.

3. Remove any existing connected phones.

4. Ensure no devices are connected.

Connecting Magic Box to Vehicle

1. Connect the USB Type-C end labeled "device" into the Magic Box.

2. Plug the USB Type-A end into one of your vehicle’s USB port.

3. The Magic Box will show LED indicators:

   • Solid White before connected, Once it is connected it will be blue.

4. When prompted, select Enable for Apple CarPlay on your vehicle's screen.

5. Confirm the safety warning by selecting Agree and Accept.

6. Choose your desired launch mode:

   • Apple CarPlay

   • Android Auto

   • Magic Box streaming

Selecting an Internet Source

• Using SIM Card: Activate online. Navigate to settings, ensure Mobile Data is turned ON.

• Using Personal Hotspot:

  1. Go to your smartphone settings and activate Personal Hotspot.

  2. From the Magic Box Wi-Fi settings, select your device's hotspot and enter your password.

  3. Confirm connection via Wi-Fi and 4G indicators on the home screen.

Downloading Apps

1. Open the Google Play Store from the app drawer.

2. Log in with your Google email.

3. Download desired apps directly to your Magic Box.

If an app is not found in the Google Play Store, use the Magic Store, or contact support for assistance.

Customizing App Toolbar

• Remove App: Long-hold an app icon and drag away from toolbar.

• Add App: Press the plus (+) button and select apps to add.

Creating App Folders

• Long-hold an app icon and drag it over another app to group them into a folder.

Deleting Apps

• Long-hold an app icon and drag it to Uninstall at the top of the screen.

Moving Apps Across Screens

• Long-hold an app icon and drag to your preferred location across different home screen pages.
