How to Use HDMI Extend and HDMI Output with Your Magic BoxUpdated 22 days ago

What is HDMI Extend Mode?

HDMI Extend Mode allows you to display different content on your vehicle's front screen and rear monitors simultaneously. For example, you can play videos on rear screens for passengers while using navigation on the front screen.

How to Use HDMI Extend Mode

Displaying Different Content on Front and Rear Screens

  1. Go to Settings on your Magic Box
  2. Find and toggle on the HDMI Extend Mode option
  3. Reopen the app you want to display on the rear screens (e.g., YouTube)
  4. Start playing the content
  5. Tap the Accessibility button
  6. Tap the HDMI button (located on the far right)
  7. The content will now play on the rear monitors only
  8. You can now open a different app (such as Maps) on the front screen

Returning to Mirror Display Mode

  1. Go back to Settings
  2. Toggle off the HDMI Extend Mode option
  3. Wait a few seconds for the system to switch back
  4. Both screens will now display the same content (mirror display)

Troubleshooting Tips

  • If the screens don't switch immediately after toggling HDMI Extend Mode, wait a few seconds for the change to take effect
  • Make sure all HDMI connections are secure
  • If you're experiencing issues, try restarting your Magic Box
