Connecting to Android Auto with The Magic Box 3.0Updated 9 days ago


Prerequisites

  • Android smartphone with Android Auto app installed
  • Magic Box 3.0 device
  • Both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled on your smartphone

Connection Steps

On Your Android Phone:

  1. Enable both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth in your phone settings
  2. Navigate to Settings > Connected Devices
  3. Tap on "Android Auto"
  4. Select "Connect a vehicle"

On Your Magic Box 3.0:

  1. From the main screen, tap on the "Android Auto" option
  2. Note the device name displayed (e.g., "Magic Box 38DC")

Complete the Connection:

  1. On your phone, tap "Connect using wireless"
  2. When prompted, select "Connect using Bluetooth"
  3. Locate and select your Magic Box from the list (e.g., "Magic Box 38DC")
  4. Accept the pairing request on your phone
  5. Tap "Continue" when prompted to start Android Auto

What to Expect

Once connected, you'll have wireless access to all Android Auto features through your Magic Box 3.0, including:

  • Navigation apps
  • Music apps
  • Communication tools
  • And other Android Auto compatible applications

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Ensure both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on your phone
